SOME DECISIONS FROM COMMITEE MEETING

After our A.G.M the committee have decided that the membership will be £20 per year. Each monthly outing will be £30 (most of which will include a meal and all of which have prizes set up on the day).

Any one who does not appear on society outings will be fined £5 which must be paid on the next outing.

Any person without a valid excuse will also be cut 1 shot!

The committee have also decided that 6 outings must be played to qualify for captains day prizes.
To qualify for Gran Prix points you must play 8 of the 12 organised outings.

There will be a singles match play tournament commencing in September - there will be a one off charge of £5 for this (it is not compulsory to take part).

THE MORE OUTINGS YOU ATTEND THE BETTER CHANCES YOU HAVE TO PICK UP SOMETHING ON CAPTAINS DAY!

The new club polo shirt will be ready for the strabane outing in August. Those who have paid membership by this date will recieve their shirt before the outing. For the rest of you get the white fivers out!!!!!

FUND RAISING EVENTS

MAY'S CARD NIGHT

The society will hold another poker night on 3rd May 08 @ 8.00PM AT COLLIE DONAGHY'S GAME ROOM.

Please remember that the proceeds from this will be going towards Captains Day in June so all support is appreciated. The more we raise through these events throughout the year the better Captains Day will be for everyone. Anyone who does not attend will still be required to pay the £20 entrance fee.

CITY WEST HOTEL - DUBLIN

2008 will host an all new Captains Day (weekend).

We have booked the CITY WEST HOTEL in Dublin for Fri 13th & Sat 14th June.

This will give the ladies a chance to shop or pamper themselves while the men are golfing.

The price for your golf and 2 nights bed and breakfast is approximately £100 per couple.

Please show plenty of support over the next few months so this can be an enjoyable weekend for both the golfers and their partners - START SAVING AND MAKE IT A GOOD ONE!!!
